I can tolerate all foods (which can either be a good thing or bad thing LOL).

I always fear stretching the tummy. When I brought it up with my surgeon at my 2 year post op check, he said unless I'm gaining a significant amount of weight, he won't investigate. I've only gained a few kgs, which isn't excessive. It's normal to gain a few once things settle down etc.Nessahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00685608763103000286noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1044089315410115186.post-90244997899862357772016-11-16T17:06:06.185+11:002016-11-16T17:06:06.185+11:00I'm just curious really - more about post-op b...I'm just curious really - more about post-op but you have described your experience pretty well. I live in St Kilda and had been looking at a surgeon, Peter Nottle, who does it at The Avenue and also works at The Alfred. I have read some people say they eat what they used to but smaller portions - about a cup's worth) but I thought you said you were eating about 1/2 a cup worth of food - correct me if I'm wrong. I might be remembering that wrong. I also appreciate everyone will be a bit different with what they can tolerate after the surgery. I'm worried I might just eat too much and stretch the stomach again - do you ever fear that? Is there a website/dr who shows what a typical day's eating might look like? Thanks. Or just curious about the whole procedure and what's involved pre and post op?Nessahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00685608763103000286noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1044089315410115186.post-33187996409114417322016-11-13T12:02:32.804+11:002016-11-13T12:02:32.804+11:00Hi Nessa, thanks for sharing your experience with ...Hi Nessa, thanks for sharing your experience with us. Would you be able to tell me what a typical day's food consists of, now you are well past the liquid, soft-food stage? I am curious if it is something I think I can sustain, they don't seem to go into too much detail on doctor's websites. Thanks.
